Booking Modifications & Cancellations

You may request a cancellation or modification of your confirmed booking before the arrival/start date by sending an email only to the same email ID from which your booking proposal was issued.

Your email must include:

  • Booking Reference ID

  • Registered Mobile Number

Nature & Hills Explorer does not accept cancellation or modification requests over phone calls. Only email requests will be considered valid.

All amendment or modification requests are subject to the availability of hotels, services, and travel components. If the requested modification is not available, the request will be treated as a cancellation and processed accordingly.


SECTION A – CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER

If you cancel a confirmed trip, the following cancellation charges (retention amount) will apply on the total package cost:

0–15 days No Refund
16–30 days 75%
31–60 days 50%
60 days or more 20%

πŸ“Œ Important Notes:

  • The start date of the journey is considered Day 0.

  • Individual hotel check-in dates will not be considered separately.

  • Cancellation days are calculated by excluding the start date.

  • No refund will be processed for cancellations made within 15 days of the journey start date.

Postponement Option

In certain cases, Nature & Hills Explorer may allow postponement instead of cancellation, subject to:

  • Request made at least 30 days before the journey start date

  • Rescheduling within 3 months of the original date

  • Approval from hotels and service partners

This postponement credit may be transferred to friends or family members if you are unable to travel.

SECTION B – FORCE MAJEURE

In events beyond human control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Riots, strikes, or civil unrest

  • Government restrictions at the source or destination

Nature & Hills Explorer may allow postponement of the trip up to 3 months, provided:

  • The disruption continues for 15 days or less

  • Service partners approve the postponement

SECTION C – PANDEMIC OR GOVERNMENT-IMPOSED TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

If travel is restricted due to:

  • Airport / railway shutdowns

  • Government-imposed lockdowns or travel bans

The trip may be postponed up to 30 days from the date such restrictions are lifted, subject to partner approval.

REFUND POLICY

  • Refund requests must be submitted via email only.

  • Email must include:

    • Booking Reference ID

    • Registered Mobile Number

    • Bank Account Details

Approved refunds will be processed to the original bank account within 5–7 business days.

🚫 No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances.


POLICY UPDATES

Nature & Hills Explorer reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.

By making a booking, you consent to receive communications from Nature & Hills Explorer via:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • WhatsApp

These communications may include booking updates, service information, or promotional content (where permitted).
